The authors study the norm attainment set and the minimum norm attainment set of an operator defined on \(l_{p}^{2}\) (\(1 < p < \infty\)). They obtain a complete description of the same from the point of view of cardinality. They establish the optimal bounds in both cases. Also, they investigate left symmetric operators.
