The paper is devoted to presenting many results on so-called \(b\)-metric spaces and quasi \(b\)-metric spaces, discovered by Ćirić. The paper is well prepared, and can be discussed both by professional mathematicians and persons working in other areas of mathematics. Also some applications to different areas of mathematics and other sciences, are presented. The paper is worth to be wider presented.
