This paper deals with limit cycles for a piecewise polynomial system with a non-regular switching boundary, i.e., a switching boundary separating the plane into two angular sectors with two angles, via the averaging theory up to any order. Up to the first two orders, an upper bound of limit cycles is obtained and is proved to be reachable and greater than the case of straight switching line.
