The authors study statistical hypersurfaces on almost Hermitian and almost Kähler statistical manifolds. They find conditions under which hypersurfaces on almost Hermitian manifolds are almost contact metric statistical manifolds. Furthermore, they find a necessary and sufficient condition for an almost contact metric statistical hypersurface defined in an almost Kähler statistical manifold to admit a contact metric or an almost cosymplectic statistical structure.
