The existence of solutions of the scalar equilibrium problems is studied by introducing the concept of generalized pseudomonotone bifunctions with respect to another bifunction and by using the standard methodology of a Fan-KKM theorem. By using the scalarization technique, the existence results for solutions of vector equilibrium problems are derived. As particular cases, the existence of solutions for minima inequalities and saddle point problems are also established.
