The author presents a unified error analysis for the spatial discretisation of wave-type equations with nonlinear but quasi-monotone operators. He applies this error bounds to non-conforming finite elements in the discretisation of wave equations with nonlinear acoustic boundary conditions using isoparametric elements. A short numerical experiment verifies the given theoretical results.
