Ultrapowers of Banach algebras (Q2103889)

Let \(A\) be a Banach algebra. This paper deals with the question of amenability for ultrapowers of \(A\). Let \(X\) be any Banach-\(A\)-module. \(A\) is said to have the UD-property if for any ultra filter \({\mathcal U}\), every derivation \(D: A \rightarrow (X)_{\mathcal U}\) is inner. Under this assumption the authors show (Theorem 3.3) that \(A\) is ultra amenable if and only if \(A\) has a bounded ultra virtual diagonal. It is not known if ultra amenability already implies the UD-property.
