Sufficient optimality conditions for characterizing the solutions of finite-dimensional optimization problems consisting in minimizing strongly quasiconvex functions over weakly convex sets are provided. The case of the feasible set formulated by means of the Lebesgue set of a weakly convex function is treated separately. When the objective function is also differentiable, sufficient conditions for local optimality are considered as well. An example illustrates the theoretical achievements.
