In this paper the authors study the average behavior of the \(n\)-th normalized Fourier coefficients of symmetric square \(L\)-function (i.e., \(L(s, \mathrm{sym}^2 \ f )\) ) over certain sequence of positive integers, where \(f\) is primitive holomorphic cusp form f of weight k for the group \(\mathrm{SL}(2, \mathbb Z)\).
