In this paper, the author classifies all possible topological types of the pairs \((N(X),X)\) in orientable hyperbolic \(3\)-manifolds \(M\), where \(X\) is a connected component of the union of all the embedded totally geodesic thrice-punctured spheres in \(M\) and \(N(X)\) is a regular neighborhood of \(X\).
