Flows of \(G_2\)-structures on contact Calabi-Yau 7-manifolds (Q2164358)

The paper focuses on the Laplacian flow and coflow of \(G_2\)-structures on contact Calabi-Yau 7-manifolds. The authors show the existence of ancient solutions under the natural initial condition. The flows in each case collapse to a lower-dimensional limit. When the manifold is compact, the types of singularities of Laplacian flow and coflow are given. They also study the Hitchin flow in this setting.
