The universal sheaf as an operator (Q2168343)

The author computes the universal sheaf of moduli spaces \(\mathcal{M}\) of sheaves on a smooth projective surface, as an operator from \(\lambda=\{\text{symmetric polynomials}\}\) to the K-group \(K(\mathcal{M})\). He generalizes the main construction of \textit{E. Carlsson} et al. [Mosc. Math. J. 14, No. 1, 39--61 (2014; Zbl 1303.14046)], which considered the moduli space of rank one framed sheaves on affine planes.
