Group LCD and group reversible LCD codes (Q2168934)

The authors study a class of codes named LCD codes (linear complementary dual codes, i.e.~these codes have a trivial intersection with their orthogonal). These codes can also be regarded as ideals in a group ring, which means they are group codes. The authors give a bijection between a group ring and vector space over \(\mathbb{F_2}\) in Section 2.1. In Section 2.3 a construction of the investigated codes is given in general in matrix form and in Section 3 the authors specify this construction to group LCD codes. An example over the dihedral group with 6 elements is also given in this section. More code constructions follow in Section 4 and 5. In Section 6 the authors provide their computational results which they achieved in the software package MAGMA.
