Lipschitz continuity results for a class of obstacle problems (Q2180291)

The authors establish some Lipschitz continuity properties for solutions of a class of obstacle problems with standard growth conditions of \(p\)-type. The arguments are based on a linearization technique, which is applied to interpret the constrained minimizer as a solution of a related nonlinear elliptic equation, with a bounded right-hand side. The Moser iteration method and energy estimates also play an important role in the proof of the main result.
