Summary: We introduce a deformation of Cayley's second hyperdeterminant for even-dimensional hypermatrices. As an application, we obtain a generalization of Jacobi-Trudi formula for Macdonald functions of rectangular shapes generalizing Matsumoto's formula for Jack functions.
