Euler characteristics of exotic configuration spaces (Q2199810)

In this paper the author studies the exponential generating function for the Euler characteristic of several generalized configuration spaces. In particular, he obtains the exponential generating function for the Euler characteristic of \(\mathcal{T}\)-configuration spaces. As a corollary of his main result, he also obtains the exponential generating functions for the sequence of Euler characteristics of the configuration spaces proved by \textit{Ś. R. Gal} [Colloq. Math. 89, No. 1, 61--67 (2001; Zbl 0982.55012)] and that for the Euler characteristics of \textit{no-\(k\)-equal spaces} obtained by \textit{A. Björner} and \textit{L. Lovász} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 7, No. 3, 677--706 (1994; Zbl 0811.05070)].
