    The study is concerned with intuitionistic fuzzy control and brings an idea of fuzzy numeric intuitionistic fuzzy sets (FNIFS) regarded as generic building components of fuzzy models. The definition of this concept is provided along with some comparative analysis involving other types of information granules. In the sequel, proposed was a rule-based model involving rules in the following format ($i$-th rule): If $x_1$ is $F_{i1}(x_1)$ and $\dots$ $x_n$ is $F_{in}(x_n)$ then $D_i$, where $F_i(x_j)$ is a fuzzy numeric intuitionistic fuzzy set, $i=1, 2,\dots, c$; $j=1,2,\dots,n$ while $D_i$ stands for the local linear model describing the dynamics and output relationship being characterized by real-valued matrices. Feedback control (realized through a collection of rules) is presented along with related stability analysis. A brief illustrative example (inverted pendulum) is covered. The study offers interesting insight into a new direction in fuzzy modeling which might imply some useful developments once thorough and practically viable methods of acquisition of fuzzy numeric intuitionistic fuzzy sets have been established and validated.
