Skew-symmetric elements of rational group algebras (Q2204390)

As usual, let \(RG\) be the group ring of a finite group \(G\) over a unital commutative ring \(R\). The paper under review deals with \textit{skew-symmetric elements of rational group algebras}. In this vein, two structure theorems (namely, Theorems 1.1 and 1.2) of rather technical character are established for the Lie algebra of skew-symmetric elements of the group ring \(FG\), where \(F\) is an algebraic extension of the field of rationals \(\mathbb{Q}\); these theorems generalize some previously known results in this direction (see the corresponding references therewith).
