The notions of a homogeneous \(G\)-structure and of homogeneous integrability are introduced. Contact structures are considered as homogeneous symplectic structures. It is proved that contact structures are in a bijective correspondence with homogeneous \(\mathrm{Sp}\)-structures of an appropriate degree $\alpha$ that are homogeneous integrable (here \(\mathrm{Sp}\) denotes the symplectic group).
