The stability of a general sextic functional equation by fixed point theory (Q2221329)

Summary: In this paper, we will consider the generalized sextic functional equation \(\sum_{i=0}^7 {_7C_i} (-1)^{7-i}f(x+iy)=0\). And by applying the fixed point theorem in the sense of \textit{L. Cădariu} and \textit{V. Radu} [Carpathian J. Math. 28, No. 1, 25--36 (2012; Zbl 1265.39048)], we will discuss the stability of the solutions for this functional equation.
