Dynamics of evolutionary PDE systems (Q2225830)

The article is devoted to a method for constructing exact and approximate solutions of systems of evolutionary partial differential equations. It extends the concept of finite-dimensional dynamics, introduced earlier for scalar equations, to systems of partial differential equations. The method is applied to the equation describing deep filtration of suspensions in a porous medium and to the telegraph equation in order to obtain some explicit solutions.
