The authors examine the geodesics in a Godel metric, using the Kundt's form of this metric. Questions of interest for authors: symmetries, conserved quantities, causality. The apparatus of Killing vectors is used throughout the article. The authors derive a one-to-one correspondence between the parameter space of elliptic-like geodesics as compared with circular orbits. They show how to connect the 2 equivalent descriptions of particle motion by introducing a pair of complex coordinates in the 2-planes orthogonal to the symmetry axis which brings the metric into a form which is invariant under Möbius transformations preserving the symmetries of the orbit. The article lasts the impression of almost exhaustive investigation of the problem.
