The author applies the mean field homogenization framework of Hashin-Shtrikman assemblage. The employed method is based on representing the various possible phase arrangement types in \(n\)-phase composites by considering regardless of arrangement details, a \((n + 1)\)th phase matrix layer of infinitesimal concentration which embeds identically the constitutive phases. The type of phase assemblage is characterized by the properties of interfacial wrapping layer. The strain and stress localization characteristics are investigated.
