Ways of counting in Micronesia (Q2238855)

Although the original ways of counting have undergone structural changes or have been abandoned altogether after centuries of contact with foreign powers, one can provide a somewhat patchy reconstruction of the rather diverse ways of counting in Micronesian languages and, in the process, detect ``some overarching patterns''.
