This paper proposes a method for filtering images corrupted by additive-multiplicative noise. Its algorithm procedure is described and experiments have been done to show its effectiveness. Of course, it is a new method. It should be pointed out that the algorithm details are not clearly described and the experimental results couldn't be reproduced since the used parameter values in the algorithm have not been provided. In principle, the proposed filtering method is similar to the BM3D denoising method proposed in [\textit{K. Dabov} et al., ``Image denoising by sparse 3D transform-domain collaborative filtering'', IEEE Trans. Image Process. 16, No. 8, 2080--2095 (2007; \url{doi:10.1109/TIP.2007.901238})], so its comparison with BM3D is needed and meaningful.
