Summary: We answer a question left open in [\textit{M. Focardi} and \textit{E. Spadaro}, Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 230, No. 1, 125--184 (2018; Zbl 1405.35257)] and [\textit{M. Focardi} and \textit{E. Spadaro}, ibid. 230, No. 2, 783--784 (2018; Zbl 1466.35376)], by proving that the blow-up of minimizers \(u\) of the lower dimensional obstacle problem is unique at generic point of the free boundary.
