Considers the differential expression \( -\dfrac{d^2}{d^2x} \) on each edge of a finite, not necessarily compact, metric graph. The author completely characterises the boundary conditions to be imposed at the vertices of the graph which yield quasi-\(m\)-accretive as well as \(m\)-accretive operators.
