The methods used in this paper include spectral theorem, regular approximations of singular problems and the relationship between the number of linearly independent square-integrable solutions for real values of the spectral parameter and the spectrum. The results obtained in this paper contain the cases when the endpoints are regular or limit-circle non-oscillatory.
