Using a criterion by \textit{B. Deng} and \textit{J. Du} [J. Algebra 324, No. 12, 3355--3377 (2010; Zbl 1252.17009)], the author computes the tight monomials of the positive part of the quantized enveloping algebra for type \(B_3\). Here, a monomial in the divided powers of the \(E_i\) is called tight if it belongs to Lusztig's canonical basis.
