The author analyses properties of spaces of Sobolev, potential, Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin type associated with Cherednik operators on \(\mathbb{R}^d\). Applications to wave and Schrödinger type equations are included. Moreover, extremal functions in some of the introduced spaces are studied by means of reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces theory.
