The authors present some preconditioners for the block accelerated overrelaxation (BAOR) iterative method and provide comparison theorems to show convergence of the multi-level preconditioned block AOR method for solving a linear system whose coefficient matrix is a nonsingular \(Z\)-matrix. Numerical experiments are carried out on a 300 x 300 matrix and it is found that the spectral radii of the iteration matrix decreases when a parameter increases in value.
