On the type of partial t-spreads in finite projective spaces (Q2266440)

Let P denote the finite projective space of dimension \(r\geq 3\) and of order \(p^ h\), where p is prime. A set of pairwise disjoint t- dimensional subspaces of P is called a partial t-spread of P. If the union of the elements of a partial t-spread of P contains P, then the partial t-spread is called a t-spread of P. This paper gives a detailed study of partial t-spreads.
