Characterization of finite simple group \(D_n(2)\). (Q2266839)

Let \(G\) be a finite group and let \(\pi_e(G)\) be the set of all element orders of \(G\). In the paper under review the author proves that if \(G\) is a finite group, then \(G\cong M\) if and only if \(|G|=|M|\) and \(\pi_e(G)=\pi_e(M)\), where \(M=D_n(2)\) and \(n\) is even.
