The theory of shift-invariant spaces is extended to the context of LCA groups. For a countable discrete subgroup \(H\) of an LCA group \(G\) a notion of \(H\)-invariant space is introduced. It is shown that the concept of range function and also fiberization techniques are valid. Applications to frames and Riesz bases of these spaces are given.
