The system \[ \begin{aligned} dx/dt&=Ax(t-\omega),\quad t\geq0;\\ x(\xi)&=0, \qquad \xi\in[-\omega,0);\\ x(0)&=x_0 \end{aligned} \] is considered. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of the first \(p\) components of this system are obtained.
