Some remarks on normal property of graded subalgebras of polynomial rings (English)

Let R be an integral domain and A a finely graded R-subalgebra of a polynomial ring over R. The main result of this paper states that if A is equipped with a structure of a finely graded square-free pre-Hodge algebra over R, and R is a (completely) normal domain, then so is A. This answers a conjecture posed by \textit{A. Noma}. A partial converse of the above result is also given.
