Equilibrium with quantity targets (Q2277126)

The paper defines a new concept of an equilibrium called an equilibrium with quantity targets. This is done within the context of a model with nonconvexity in production and an existence result is demonstrated. The concept introduced in this paper is derived from one introduced in the paper by \textit{E. Dierker} and \textit{W. Neuefeind} [J. Math. Econ. 17, No.2/3, 249-259 (1988; Zbl 0657.90013)] where there is a public agency which insures that at an equilibrium a given amount of net production is achieved. The present paper extends the Dierker and Neuefeind contribution in two ways: first by considering more general production structures and secondly by relaxing some technical restrictions.
