The author computes the values of the Kazhdan-Lusztig map from the set of nilpotent orbits in a complex semisimple Lie algebra to the set of conjugacy classes of its Weyl group in the cases of \(G_2\), \(F_4\) and \(E_6\). There are some computations and conjectures for \(E_7\) and \(E_8\). In doing all this the author uses a reduction to the conjugate classes of Levi factors of parabolic subgroups in the Weyl group.
