The paper is devoted to a two-species Lotka-Volterra competition-diffusion-advection system and its shadow system, where the ratio of diffusion and advection rates are supposed to be a positive constant The existence of positive solutions for the Lotka-Volterra system and its shadow system are obtained. Some interesting biological interpretations of the results obtained are done.
