Let $N^{n}$ be a compact smooth manifold. A 1-sided \(h\)-cobordim $(W,N,M)$ is a cobordism with either $N \hookrightarrow W$ or $M \hookrightarrow W$ a homotopy equivalence. A pseudo collar generalises the notion of the end of a manifold. The author shows how this kind of cobordism (or 1-sided \(s\)-cobordism) can be used to construct uncountably many pseudo-collars on closed manifolds with the same boundary.
