The article studies a 2-parameter family of linear operators on the set of triangles that preserve the centroid of triangles and maps equilateral triangles to equilateral triangles. In particular, 1-parameter subfamilies of area-preserving operators are investigated. The orbit of a triangle under subsequent application of such a operator leads to fascinating figures.
