Motivated by his earlier paper [Appl. Math. Comput. 218, No. 3, 766--772 (2011; Zbl 1239.47009)] and results by \textit{M.-D. Choi} [Can. J. Math. 24, 520--529 (1972; Zbl 0235.46090)], the author gives some new inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for operator convex functions and positive maps. Applications for the power function and logarithm are also given.
