Simple fair division of a square (Q2304202)

This paper considers the division of a one or two dimensional object, for example a cake, into \(n\) players in a fair and equitable way according to each player's measure. The article begins with an overview of the one-dimensional case and the background definitions and theorems, before proposing a two-dimensional model for the unit square. The existence of a proportional, equitable and simple division of this cake is then proven along with a number of useful properties.
