This is a highly technical presentation of research into the reconstruction of the solar and lunar eclipse possibilities embedded into the Black Plate Inscription (BPI) of the Antikythera Mechanism, as well as a new edition of the BPI itself, with extensive commentaries on previous reconstructions. There are several ``significant new readings as well as the conformation of a disputed reading pertaining to one of the index letters by which the BPI's paragraphs are linked to the specific eclipse glyphs of the Saros Dial.'' This is essential reading for the meaning of BPI's predictions.
