The main result of the paper is obtained as a relation for finding the harmonic barycentric coordinates for an arbitrary polygon. The solution of that relation is approximate and analytical. The logarithmic potential of a double layer of the corresponding Dirichlet problem that is solved by Fredholm method is used. Also, the convergence rate and the error of the approximate solution are obtained. The developed theory is verified by comparison of the approximate solution with the exact solution of the known problems.
