Fixed point results for \(\alpha\)-\(\psi_\lambda\)-contractions on gauge spaces and applications (Q2319036)

Summary: We extend the concept of \(\alpha\)-\(\psi\)-contractive mappings introduced recently by the third author et al. [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 75, No. 4, 2154--2165 (2012; Zbl 1242.54027)] to the setting of gauge spaces. New fixed point results are established on such spaces, and some applications to nonlinear integral equations on the half-line are presented.
