The authors gives a new representation of the differential operator of order \(4\alpha+10\) for which the Laguerre-Sobolev polynomials are eigenfunctions. In particular, the Laguerre-Sobolev differential operator is shown to be symmetric with respect to the Sobolev-type inner product.
