More on generalizations and modifications of iterative methods for solving large sparse indefinite linear systems (Q2336599)

Summary: Continuing from the works of \textit{Y.-C. Li} et al. [Abstr. Appl. Anal. 2014, Article ID 237808, 11 p. (2014; Zbl 1473.65041)], \textit{Y. Li} [The modified, MINRES methods for solving large sparse non-symmetric linear systems. Kaohsiung, Taiwan: National Kaohsiung Normal University (M.S. thesis) (2007)], and \textit{D. R. Kincaid} et al. [Taiwanese J. Math. 4, No. 3, 385--396 (2000; Zbl 0966.65034)], we present more generalizations and modifications of iterative methods for solving large sparse symmetric and nonsymmetric indefinite systems of linear equations. We discuss a variety of iterative methods such as GMRES, MGMRES, MINRES, LQ-MINRES, QR MINRES, MMINRES, MGRES, and others.
