The author studies smooth families of stratified bundles in positive characteristic and the variation of their monodromy group. Based on works of Grothendieck, Katz, André and Hrushovski, \textit{H. Esnault} and \textit{A. Langer} [Doc. Math., J. DMV 18, 23--50 (2013; Zbl 1327.14050)] have stated and proved a positive equicharacteristic \(p\)-curvature conjecture. The author strengthens this result in the case when the ground field is uncountable. When it is countable, then positive and negative answers to possible generalizations are provided.
