The paper is dedicated to the study of the Günter inequality on a candle function of a manifold. Also, the authors analyze an upper bound on the curvature of a Riemannian manifold using the ``\(\sqrt{\mathrm{Ric}}\)'' curvature which is between a sectional curvature bound and a Ricci curvature bound. A link between the Günter inequality and the Bishop inequality it is also established in this paper.
